What we collect when you use Merci AI or try the live demo, and what we do with it.
Who we are
Merci AI is provided by Turgut Sönmez, a sole proprietorship trading as T-Apps, based in Türkiye. You can reach us at hello@getmerciai.com.
What we collect
When you sign in: the name, email address and profile photo of your Google account. When you connect a store: your App Store Connect Issuer ID, Key ID and private key, the package names you enter for Google Play, and the reviews, replies and drafts of your apps. When you turn on alerts: the Slack or Discord webhook address you enter. When you try the live demo: the app you look up and its public App Store reviews, which we don't save. When you sign up through a link with a channel code (such as ?ref=hn): that code. We save it once with your account to see which channels bring new users. We count visits to this website per day, per channel code and by the kind of site you came from (a search engine, for example), without cookies and without saving who visited. We also note when you first connect a store, write a draft and publish a reply, to see where new users get stuck. When you buy a plan: your plan, billing period and the email address and country you enter at checkout. Card and bank details go to Paddle, not to us.
Why
To show your reviews, write reply drafts and translations, and publish the replies you approve. Review text is sent to OpenAI (USA) only for drafts, translations and review analysis: spotting bug reports and the topics that keep coming back. OpenAI doesn't use it to train its models. If you turn on alerts, new reviews and their reply drafts are sent to the Slack or Discord channel you chose. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising. Paddle, our reseller and Merchant of Record, processes payments, tax and invoices under its own privacy notice.
Where and for how long
Your data is stored with Google Cloud in the EU (Belgium). Your private key and your alerts webhook address are encrypted before they're stored. The key is deleted when you disconnect the App Store, the webhook address when you turn alerts off. Everything else is kept for as long as your account is open. Standard server logs are deleted after 30 days.
